In this unique environment of a genuine concentration of rare birds and mammals (Tropical Screech and Black-banded owls; Ocelots; Giant Armadillo, Tayra, Maned Wolf…), Jaguarium lodge is born as an unprecedented lodging enterprise in this habitat. With an area of 420 hectares, the first stage is in the final phase of completion, and will offer differentiated observation activities, always in view of our ideal of minimum impact and maximum interaction to the environment visited.\u00a0<\/p>

Located at the woodlands traditionally known as \u2018Ba\u00eda do Cap\u00e3o de On\u00e7a\u2019, right at the confluence of both the Dynamic Low and High, at the intersection of the Remote Pantanal to the Transpantaneira park-road and at its midway to its end, in Porto Jofre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Centuries-old trees typical of the great mountain ranges right next to a water shed covered by papyri. In this fantastic setting is that we will build the Jaguarium lodge.\u00a0 A unique area demands on us a unique project of installations \u2013 that\u2019s what we are doing!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

At a water divisor of Bento Gomes and Claro rivers, the dense forest is predominant, but, at the bottom of the property, where it is wider, there is a large open field \u2018invaded\u2019 by a mound hill (cap\u00e3o) where is planned to be built a nice canopy tower.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Since the access from the Transpantaneira, the terrain is high, so, we provoked a minimum impact on building its embankment for the access internal road. In a journey of only 1 km, we installed three pipelines and one bridge, for the water free circulation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Obeying a serious environmental licenses, we built two water lakes. Instead of doing it squared or circular, we made it surrounding the trees, so, the fruits could be fresh when eaten by the fishes. An island in between guarantees water oxygenation by circulation.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Built on high ground, the lagoons – a water reserve for many animals – have remained even in the greatest drought in a century in the Pantanal. In 2020, these waters prevented the advance of a serious fire that, coming from the road, was stopped by us.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We are at the end of the construction of the first step of our project. In the near future, we would be offering 4 rooms with private facilities and, each two of them, a private verandah.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In a place of much shade of trees, we considered the natural resources of wind and sun and to make the accommodations more appeasable we made the rooms with very high ceilings and huge windows, which will have an awning and anti-mosquito screens.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In the center of the building, there is a kind of internal garden – an area with higher transparent coverage and ventilation entrance, which functions as a duct for hot air outlet from the dining room.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
