At the World’s best place to see elusive Jaguars (and where they are bigger) these tours are focused on the search and observation of the Americas’ biggest cat at the Meeting of Waters State Park and the Tayamã Station – two ecological sanctuaries where reigns the top of the food chain, certifying all the environmental balance. From June to November, every day except the cold ones, Jaguars are seeing hunting for Caimans or Capybaras, or even resting on the banks of the rivers or on the beaches, to the delight of photographers and nature lovers.

With the minimum of 2 nights, how many possibilities of different angles you wish is what will determine the length of your journey.

Pantanal Dynamic &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp 03-04-06 days
Wild Life Tours

Governed by cycles of rain, the Pantanal fauna is present either in search or taking refuge from the water. So, to provide a broader view of this Dynamic Pantanal visited all year long along the Transpantaneira park-road, our tours are flexible according to the season and concentration of wildlife. It depends on your desire how long we stay on each of the places. Due to the short distances, the optional Savannah is offered to relax, interact with nature or understand the geological formation of the Pantanal.

 

A minimum of 2 nights at the Low or 1 more night at the High Pantanal is reccomendable to have a wide view of the region.

Dynamic Jaguar &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp 04-06-10 days
Cats, Mammals, Bird-watching

This tour offers the opportunity of encountering the Jaguars as well as the Giant-river Otters among an endless number of other species, with the use of fast speed boats. On the way in or on the way out to the Meeting of Waters Park, we break down the distances, including both of the Dynamic Low and High Pantanal environments. By this way, we aim enlarging the diversity of wildlife observed at the largest World’s largest Wetland (Giant Anteater, Tapir, and many others).

 

A minimum of 4 nights turn this tour feasible, with at least 2 nights only at the Jaguar seeking portion plus the two others at the High and Low Dynamic Pantanal.

Pantanal North & South 09 days

The 11 different Pantanals offer, each one, genuine characteristics on diversified environments and occurrence of wildlife. Generically, taking in consideration the entrance gate, it is divided in the North and South Pantanal. As the water flow is very slow, at the end, each of these destinations are living a different season, so, visiting them both at once would definitely permit a much wider view of the entire region. Linking them both, private charter flights ensures a stunning and unforgettable view or, with time, it can also be by land.

A minimum of 8 nights is suggested for this itinerary. 01 more night if taking a flight CUIABÁ/CAMPO GRANDE or 02 more nights if by land along the whole journey.

Grand Pantanal 12 days

If considered all the heads of the water that form the sub-basin of the Paraguay River, the Grand Pantanal total area is ten times bigger than what is known as the World’s largest Wetlands. It suffers influences of the Atlantic and of the Amazon Rain Forests and includes its neighbor Cerrado, the most threatened of the Brazilian Biomes. As an island surrounded by a heavy agriculture, Emas National Park, composed by a mosaic of vegetation, is a refuge for a wide variety of wildlife. Its flat topography turn it easier to observe diversified species of mammals and many birds with highlight to the Cock-tailed Tyrant (- who is not the only there with mating rituals!).

 

This tour is just a combination of any Pantanal North-South tours (Dynamic; Jaguar Seeking) to other extra minimum of 3 nights of length for moving other 420km.

Jaguar Cruise 12 days

Two protected areas on the Pantanal most important rivers could preserve the habitat of the Jaguars. At the Paraguay river, the Tayamã Ecological Station. At its tributary Cuiabá river, the Meeting of Waters Park. This tour offers the chance of visiting both Jaguar territories navigating on comfortable house-boats through remote scenarios and magnificent landscapes. Smaller and fast speed boats would be used to explore the streams, rivers and bays, permitting a better approaching to the Jaguars and all the Pantanal rich biodiverse wildlife.

 

The complete journey (12 days-11 nights), including the Transpantaneira park-road, has a pre-scheduled dates for individuals but could attend small groups at any available time.

Savannah 03 days

The Cerrado Savannah covers the Brazilian Central Plateau and is one of the main watershed that feeds the most important river basins in Brazil (Amazon, Silver, Araguaia and San Francisco). CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES, at only 70km far from CUIABÁ is a plesant town surrounded by outstanding scenarios with gorgeous waterfalls and panoramic views where is possible to see an amazing variety of birds. Nobres offers crystalline waters for snorkeling and, on the transition to the Amazon, is also a good destination for bird-watching.

A minimum of 1 night on each of the destinations is recommended.

Amazon 04 days

The lung of the Planet, Amazon is a source of fascination for any nature lover around the World. There are many gates for visiting it, in the many countries that are covered by the Worlds’ largest Rain Forest and in Brazil, the most famous is Manaus, where is predominant the low lands – the kingdom of the water! In Mato Grosso State, at higher topographies and with influence of the Cerrado and Pantanal, mosaics of vegetation justifies the reputation of our destinations to have the largest variety of birds.

 

A miminum of 2 nights if at the transition to the Savannah, or 3 nights at the transition to the Pantanal or 4 nights if at the Cristalino river area.

Three Biomes 07 days

Mato Grosso hosts three different biomes: the Amazon to the North; the Savannah to the Centre and Pantanal to the South. This tour connects these three destinations, having  CUIABÁ  as the entrance gate. In the Amazon, a large concentration of birds among some mammals, with highlight to the Harpy Eagle and Hoatzins. In the Pantanal, 700 species of birds among 120 of mammals, 80 of reptiles, 240 of fishes and in the Savannah, the bird watching is done while visiting (and having bath) valleys in stunning waterfalls or panoramic views.

A minimum of 6 nights is recommended to do this tour with a flight to ALTA FLORESTA if at Cristalino Lodge.
